For the wind howls loud and the furies fight;
Spice it with love and stir it with care,
And I'll toast our bright eyes,
my sweetheart fair."
Hello there lovelies! I hope this finds you snuggly and warm and not too stressed out by the Holiday
Season. Next week marks the official beginning of winter with the Solstice, the longest night. It's really a time of inward bound adventures. Chunky vegetable soups and stews come to mind. And in my imagination ice-skating on a frozen pond while holding a large bowl of thick hot chocolate between mittened hands, followed by fire-side reading under itchy hand-knit blankets! Ah, the stories of the mind ~ what a beautiful part of being human!

Making, crafting, brewing away... working hard to make lovely hand-made things for selling at our craft fairs and on our on-line shop! If you are local we'd LOVE to see you at the fair. We are selling lovely organic hand, body and lip balms, face and body scrubs, delicious herbal tea blends, ceramic ornaments, mugs and bowls, organic granola, soy wax peppermint "candle canes", marigold seeds harvested in the east village and more fabulous stuff!
We had day-one last Saturday, sort of a dress-rehearsal "in reviews" and it was really looking beautiful.Lots of very fine hand-made crafts from talented NYC artists. The dba craft fair is honestly the best shopping experience ~ you can pick up a hot mulled cider, or other choice veverage at the bar from the lovely Gina (Sat) and Brie (Sunday), then step back and shop - no hassly crowds, no big corporate, just loveliness!
Occupy the malls ~ shop local & hand-made this Christmas!
We sincerely hope you'll come by for unique holiday gift shopping. Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December from three 'til eight pm - it's located covered, heated back garden of dba bar, in the East Village, 41 first avenue between 2nd and 3rd streets.
